Junior Internal Sales Representative

About the role

Jelocorp, a leading provider of electrical and energy solutions, is looking for a motivated Junior Internal Sales Representative. This is a fixed‑term, one‑year contract with the possibility of becoming permanent based on performance. The role is ideal for an early‑career professional eager to learn about power distribution, industrial automation, solar solutions and low‑voltage equipment, with full product training provided.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers via telephone and email, providing product information and support.
• Prepare and process quotations and sales orders accurately.
• Follow up on outstanding quotations and pending orders.
• Liaise with external sales representatives to ensure smooth order flow.
• Capture and maintain customer data in Sage.
• Handle general customer queries and resolve issues efficiently.
• Provide administrative support to the sales department, including back‑order management.

Required profile

• Fluent in Afrikaans and English (written and spoken) – essential.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Previous experience in sales or internal sales is highly advantageous.
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
