Junior Industrial / Civil / Mechanical Engineer

About the role

The successful candidate will join our engineering team to design, develop, test and evaluate integrated systems, structures and processing lines. You will work on a variety of technical, scientific and civil projects, gaining exposure to manufacturing optimisation, logistics and cost analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and allocate resources required for project scopes.
• Implement timelines, budgets and manage resources throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Plant, Technical and General Managers on detailed designs.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring schedule adherence, budget control and quality standards.
• Conduct financial impact assessments and calculate project pay‑back.
• Map product flow across processing operations and analyse workload balance.
• Perform feasibility studies and present findings to management.
• Support maintenance teams with technical and mechanical expertise.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Industrial or Mechatronic Engineering.
• 1–5 years of experience in manufacturing process optimisation (preferred).
• Project management experience is an advantage.

What we offer

• Gross remuneration between R35 000 and R55 000 per month, dependent on qualifications and experience.
