Junior HR Practitioner - Training, Development and Performance Management

About the role

AIDC, a government-owned public entity supporting the South African automotive industry, is recruiting a Junior Human Resource Practitioner for Training, Development and Performance Management in its Human Resources department. The post is permanent with a three-month probation and reports directly to the HR Manager for Training, Development and Performance Management.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation of training, development, performance and talent management initiatives, including the workplace skills plan and reporting to SETAs
• Contribute to HR plans, help turn business and HR strategy into policies, implement HR programmes and recommend improvements to HR processes
• Take part in HR department and organisation-wide meetings, maintain the filing system, schedule and coordinate meetings, keep evidence for governance and maintain the manager's diary
• Deliver in-house training, identify training vendors with SAQA and SETA approval, update the training database and reconcile SDL refunds
• Support performance management processes and document their outcomes

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) and a National Diploma in Human Resources or a related field
• Registered SDF is an advantage
• One year of related HR experience with a strong background in skills development and performance management
