About the role
An FMCG company based in Mount Edgecombe, Durban is looking for a Junior Creditors Clerk to join its team. This is an entry-level position for someone with a strong personality, excellent telephone manner and effective communication skills.
Key responsibilities
- Process reconciliations for payments in line with the company's financial policies and procedures.
- Carry out day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying and reconciling accounts.
- Check GRVs against supplier invoices received.
- Ensure goods are returned to suppliers in a timely way.
- Process supplier claims and capture supplier invoices.
- Notify the buyer of any price changes.
Required profile
- Entry-level position; candidates should have some past experience.
- Knowledge of working with creditors.
- Strong personality, excellent telephone manner and good communication skills.
