About the role

Greenro Solutions is looking for a Junior Cost Estimator in Midrand. The role provides administrative, technical and commercial support to the Technical Sales team, assisting with quotations, tenders, costing, documentation and client coordination within the electrical engineering and automation environment. It bridges engineering and sales by ensuring accurate pricing, compliant tender submissions and efficient sales operations.

Required profile

Matric (Grade 12)
N4-N6 certificate in Electrical Engineering, or a Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Electronics (advantage)
ECSA candidate or APMP (advantage)
At least 1-2 years of formal estimating experience on industrial electrical projects
Exposure to the electrical engineering or automation industry

Required skills

Tender and contractual processes, requirements and terminology
Cost and work package estimation techniques
Electrical distribution systems and automation systems (PLC, SCADA, VSDs)
Control panels and instrumentation
Reading electrical schematics and GA drawings
BOQs and tender documentation
