Junior Cost Accountant (Live-out)

About the role

Farm Manager SA is seeking a motivated Junior Cost Accountant to join its team in the Groblersdal area of Limpopo Province, South Africa. This live‑out position offers the chance to develop cost‑accounting expertise while supporting the company’s agricultural operations. The role involves working closely with the finance team to support cost control and pricing decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate product and service costs and perform regular cost reconciliations.
• Reconcile inventory values and ensure accurate cost allocation.
• Prepare and update price lists based on cost analysis.
• Carry out basic accounting tasks such as journal entries and ledger maintenance.
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports related to cost analysis.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting (B.Com or Diploma) or comparable experience.
• Process‑driven, self‑motivated and proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and computer literacy.
• Ability to work independently in a live‑out environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience with SAGE or similar accounting software.
