Junior Civil Engineer (Secunda)

About the role

Our client, a leading consulting engineering firm, is seeking a Junior Civil Engineer to join their team in Secunda. This position offers a recent graduate the chance to work on a variety of civil projects while learning from experienced professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Support senior engineers in planning, designing, and delivering civil engineering projects.
• Assist with the preparation of technical documentation, drawings, and reports.
• Participate in site visits and field inspections as required.
• Contribute to project scheduling, budgeting, and client communication.

Required profile

• BTech or BSc in Civil Engineering (minimum qualification).
• 1‑4 years of relevant experience in a consulting engineering environment.
• Experience with concrete, steel, or civil infrastructure projects.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver client‑focused results.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
