Key responsibilities

• Prepare meals for guests according to lodge standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and ensure food safety compliance.

Required profile

• Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
• Currently residing in Gauteng.
• Previous experience as a Junior Chef, Commis Chef or similar kitchen position.
• Culinary qualification or relevant hospitality training is advantageous.
• Experience in a lodge, hotel or restaurant environment preferred.
• Strong passion for food preparation and presentation.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen best practices.
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work weekends, public holidays and flexible shifts.
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
