Junior Application Developer – Web & Mobile

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Junior Application Developer to join our fast‑paced technology team in Johannesburg. You will work on innovative web and mobile projects, collaborate with senior developers, and gain exposure to modern development tools and practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with senior developers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code across multiple platforms.
• Assist with troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving software issues.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new features and enhancements.
• Participate in Agile development processes, code reviews, and team discussions.
• Create intuitive, user‑friendly interfaces that enhance customer experiences.
• Support multiple projects while maintaining high standards of quality and delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Software Development, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Junior‑level software development experience with exposure to web and mobile application development.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and development practices.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Interest in creating visually appealing and intuitive user experiences.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
