IT Systems Manager – Lead Server & Desktop Support

About the role

Network IT is seeking an experienced IT Systems Manager to lead its Server and Desktop Support teams. You will be responsible for delivering secure, reliable, and efficient IT services while driving continuous improvement and a strong customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of Server and Desktop Support teams, ensuring infrastructure availability and performance.
• Manage workloads, incident resolution, problem management and service request fulfillment.
• Analyse service‑desk trends and implement operational improvements.
• Oversee server infrastructure, storage, backup and disaster‑recovery processes.
• Drive end‑user support enhancements, device lifecycle management and service quality.
• Act as escalation point for critical technical incidents.
• Deliver infrastructure‑related projects on time and within scope.
• Provide reporting, insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with governance, security and risk‑management requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• 5‑10 years of hands‑on technical infrastructure experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience managing technical teams.
• Proven track record of managing operational projects and service‑improvement initiatives.
