About the role
The successful candidate will provide technical support across multiple sites, maintain Microsoft 365 environments and ensure reliable day‑to‑day IT operations. This hands‑on role is ideal for a proactive professional who can troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues while keeping systems secure and optimised.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver day‑to‑day IT support to users across several branches.
- Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, tablets, printers and other equipment.
- Administer Microsoft 365 services including user accounts, licensing, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint and Exchange.
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, firewalls, backups, telephony systems and cybersecurity measures.
- Log, manage and resolve support tickets within agreed turnaround times.
- Liaise with external service providers, vendors and consultants for infrastructure and security support.
- Maintain documentation, asset registers and contribute to system improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- 5–10 years of experience in IT Support, Desktop Support or Systems Administration.
- Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
- Valid driver’s licence preferred.
Required skills
- Microsoft 365 administration (user accounts, licensing, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Exchange).
- Hardware troubleshooting for laptops, desktops, tablets and printers.
- Networking fundamentals, firewalls, backups and cybersecurity.
- Ticketing system management.
- CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ certifications.
- Microsoft certification (e.g., MS‑365).
- ITIL Foundation (advantageous).
- Cisco CCNA (advantageous).
- Cloud certifications such as AWS, VMware or Google Cloud (advantageous).
What we offer
- Negotiable salary around R22 000 per month.
- Benefits package and a 13th month cheque.
