IT Manager – Remote-first Operations Lead

About the role

TryHackMe is seeking an experienced IT Manager to own and scale internal IT operations for a fully distributed, remote‑first workforce. You will lead the IT infrastructure, security, tooling and a small technical support team while ensuring systems are secure, reliable and cost‑effective.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Google Workspace, device procurement, lifecycle management and MDM.
• Lead a 3‑person Technical Support team, set priorities and improve service performance.
• Implement and maintain SSO, MFA, IAM and access controls, supporting GDPR, ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance.
• Automate onboarding, off‑boarding and other repetitive IT workflows, and introduce an ITSM/helpdesk solution.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts and optimise IT spend.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in IT management, operations or systems administration.
• Proven experience leading a technical support team in a remote‑first SaaS environment.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Google Workspace, MDM, SSO and identity management.
