IT Manager – Large‑Scale Infrastructure Leader

About the role

Network IT is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure leader to own a large‑scale technology environment that supports over 3,000 IT professionals. This senior role combines responsibility for infrastructure, security, hardware, facilities management and a high‑performing support team across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee infrastructure, hardware, desktop support, security and policy management functions.
• Manage and optimise IT operations for approximately 3,000 consultants.
• Oversee building maintenance, renovations, repairs, vendor management and facilities operations.
• Coach, mentor and develop a team of 8‑12 IT support and facilities professionals.
• Drive infrastructure strategy, governance, risk management and operational excellence.
• Support business growth with scalable infrastructure solutions across multiple locations.

Required profile

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent tertiary qualification.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Desktop Support and Hardware Support.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft technology environments.
• Proven leadership experience managing, coaching and developing technical teams.
• Experience handling large‑scale environments serving thousands of users; multi‑site exposure is a plus.
• Strong background in security management, governance and policy implementation.
