Intermediate AI Automation Engineer

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Intermediate Automation Engineer to join a forward‑thinking engineering environment focused on leveraging AI and automation to transform business operations. Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI‑driven automation solutions.
• Analyse business processes and identify automation opportunities.
• Integrate systems and applications using APIs.
• Build and maintain workflows, automation agents, and AI platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple departments.
• Monitor, optimise, and support deployed solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in software development, automation, data engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Hands‑on experience building AI or Large Language Model (LLM) solutions, including Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), agent‑based workflows, and automation pipelines.
• Strong Python development skills.
• Experience with at least one additional programming language such as Java, TypeScript, or C#.
• Experience integrating enterprise systems via APIs.
• Working knowledge of Linux environments, containerisation technologies, CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and production monitoring tools.
• Understanding of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies.
• Ability to engage effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
