IT Coordinator

About the role

As the IT Coordinator for Mama Shelter Cape Town, you will be the digital heartbeat of the hotel, ensuring that technology runs smoothly for both staff and guests. You will support the pre‑opening phase and continue to maintain reliable systems once the property is operational.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day IT support to hotel colleagues, troubleshooting hardware, software, network and system issues.
• Assist with the setup, installation and configuration of all hotel technology systems ahead of opening.
• Manage user access, hardware deployment and ensure technology readiness for each department.
• Promote and enforce IT security standards, data protection practices and access controls.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, support inventory management and oversee asset maintenance.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to resolve technical problems.
• Deliver training and guidance to staff on the use of IT tools and systems.
