IT Administrator – Youth Employment Programme

About the role

Pragma is looking for a motivated IT Administrator to join its Youth Employment Service (YES) Programme. This 12‑month paid placement offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced industrial and asset‑management environment, supporting the company’s IT infrastructure while developing your technical skills.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the service request queue and IT mailbox, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices and voice applications.
• Support and maintain Microsoft Active Directory and/or Entra ID.
• Deploy and maintain desktop operating systems and Office 365 applications.
• Handle basic networking issues and support video‑conferencing and biometric access control equipment.
• Create, amend and delete user accounts across systems.
• Process invoices, coordinate repairs with external vendors, and keep documentation up to date.

Required profile

• A+ / N+ / M365 Certified Administrator or equivalent qualification.
• At least 1 year of experience in an IT Administrator role (advantageous).
• Experience installing and supporting Office 365 (advantageous).
• Experience with hardware installation and troubleshooting (laptops, desktops, printers, mobiles).
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and basic financial control.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and prioritize tasks.
