ISO Consultant – 12‑Month Contract (Midrand, Johannesburg)

About the role

Our client, a national provider of portable air and energy solutions, is looking for an experienced ISO Consultant to lead the implementation of an Integrated Management System (IMS) across its regional sites. This 12‑month contract role is hands‑on and requires you to develop, implement and prepare the organisation for certification under multiple ISO standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct gap analyses against ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
• Design, develop and roll out an Integrated Management System across multiple operational sites.
• Draft, review and maintain policies, procedures, processes and supporting documentation.
• Establish compliance monitoring and reporting frameworks.
• Facilitate training, awareness programmes and internal audits.
• Coordinate corrective actions and support management review processes.
• Prepare the organisation for external certification audits and ensure readiness.
• Travel between regional operations as required.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Quality Management, Environmental Management, Risk Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience implementing ISO management systems.
• Demonstrated experience with ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 projects.
• Lead Auditor and/or Internal Auditor certification is advantageous.
• Strong project management, communication and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel nationally.
