Interventional Pain Medicine Physician

About the role

We are seeking a full-time Interventional Pain Medicine Physician to join our Johannesburg clinic. The physician will manage and treat patients suffering from a variety of painful conditions using non-surgical techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with arthritis, neurological pain, back and neck pain, and related conditions.
• Perform non-surgical interventions such as injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency procedures and pulsed radiofrequency neuromodulation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary pain specialists to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in full in-house training programs to stay current with pain management techniques.

Required profile

• Registered as an independent practitioner with the HPCSA.
• Registered for private practice with a practice number at the BHFT.
• Minimum ten years of clinical experience.
• Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care and teamwork.
• Previous exposure to pain management is advantageous.
