Internal Auditor

About the role

The Technology Innovation Agency (TIA) is seeking an Internal Auditor to lead and execute comprehensive internal audits across its programmes, projects and investments. The role ensures compliance with the agency’s audit methodology, charter and guidelines while delivering clear, actionable audit reports.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, conduct and document all phases of internal audits in line with TIA’s internal audit framework.
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes and governance structures.
• Prepare detailed audit reports, highlighting findings, recommendations and follow‑up actions.
• Perform timely audits of projects, programmes and investment portfolios to verify compliance and performance.
• Collaborate with business units to discuss audit results and support implementation of corrective measures.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, finance or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit assignments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
