Internal Auditor / Financial Accountant

About the role

Our client, a well‑established freight forwarding company, is looking for a hands‑on Internal Auditor with a solid financial accounting background. The role focuses on data‑driven audit work, leveraging ERP and finance systems to ensure compliance and improve controls.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report internal audits across finance functions.
• Analyse large data sets from ERP systems (e.g., JDE, SAP) to identify risks and control gaps.
• Collaborate with business partners to develop corrective action plans.
• Prepare audit documentation and present findings to senior management.
• Support continuous improvement of audit methodologies and tools.

Required profile

• 4–5 years of experience in accounting or internal audit.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in finance, accounting or related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Fluent English (first language preferred).

Required skills

• Experience with ERP/finance systems such as JDE.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP platforms.
