Internal Account Manager

About the role

As an Internal Account Manager you will manage customer relationships, support revenue growth and coordinate sales operations. You will work closely with internal teams, vendors and customers to ensure efficient service delivery and help achieve business sales objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through telephone and email engagement.
• Prepare accurate quotations, product pricing and process customer orders.
• Support the sales team in meeting monthly, quarterly and annual gross profit targets.
• Coordinate product sourcing, delivery and manage back‑orders, providing regular status updates.
• Maintain accurate customer information across internal systems.
• Collaborate with External Account Managers, Product Managers, Business Development, Logistics and Debtors to resolve queries and encourage timely payments.
• Ensure SLA commitments are met and contribute to process improvements.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric Certificate (essential).
• Sales or Marketing qualification (advantageous).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in supply chain and inventory management within the IT industry.
