Intern Developer – React & Zoho Platform

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Intern Developer to join our tech team and help build features in React while extending our systems with Zoho Creator, Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, and Zoho Desk. This is an ideal opportunity for a fast‑learning individual eager to contribute to a platform that modernises communication for African businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain UI components using React for web and mobile applications.
• Customize and integrate Zoho apps (CRM, Books, Creator, Desk, etc.) according to product needs.
• Write clean, maintainable code, participate in bug fixing and testing cycles.
• Take part in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
• Document technical tasks and contribute to internal knowledge bases.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and provide support to internal teams.

Required profile

• Foundational knowledge of JavaScript, React.js, and REST APIs.
• Interest or exposure to Zoho Creator, Zoho CRM, or related Zoho tools.
• Ability to learn quickly and follow development and ticketing processes (e.g., Zoho Sprints).
• Passion for building software that solves real business problems.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
• Previous internship or freelance experience building apps or automations.
