Intermediate Travel Consultant – Full-Time

About the role

We are looking for an Intermediate Travel Consultant to join our Cape Town team on a full‑time basis. The role involves creating and managing travel itineraries for both corporate and leisure clients, ensuring a seamless booking experience from flights to accommodation and ground transport.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end travel bookings, including domestic and international flights.
• Source, book, and coordinate accommodation that matches client budgets and preferences.
• Arrange car rentals and other ground transportation services.
• Provide clients with travel options, quotations, and detailed itineraries.
• Process amendments, cancellations, and refunds promptly.
• Maintain accurate travel documentation and ensure timely issuance.
• Stay updated on travel products, destinations, suppliers, and industry trends.
• Build and nurture relationships with airlines, hotels, car rental providers, and clients.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve travel‑related issues quickly.
• Comply with company travel policies and meet sales and service targets.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience as a Travel Consultant or in a similar role.
• Proven track record with flight, hotel, and car‑hire bookings.
• Experience using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Galileo or Sabre is advantageous.
• Relevant travel or tourism qualification preferred.
