Intermediate Automation Developer

About the role

Network IT is looking for an Intermediate Automation Developer to join its engineering team. The role is fully remote and focuses on designing and delivering AI‑powered automation solutions that improve business processes across the organisation. You will work closely with stakeholders from sales, HR, finance and other functions to turn inefficiencies into intelligent, automated workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with multiple departments to analyse processes, quantify inefficiencies and build a pipeline of automation initiatives.
• Design, develop, deploy and maintain end‑to‑end automation solutions, including AI‑driven workflows, agent‑based systems and RAG applications.
• Contribute to the core AI platform by developing model gateways, agent runtimes, retrieval services and integration layers.
• Implement governance, monitoring, audit logging and security controls to ensure compliant and reliable operations.
• Provide training, documentation and adoption support to end users.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and knowledge‑sharing sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience in software development, automation or data engineering, with proven delivery of production‑ready solutions.
• Hands‑on experience building AI or Large Language Model‑based applications and working with retrieval‑augmented generation.
• Demonstrated ability to engage directly with business stakeholders and translate requirements into adopted solutions.

Required skills

• Strong Python development skills.
• Proficiency in at least one additional language such as Java, TypeScript or C#.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines and containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of API development and integration with ERP, CRM or document‑management systems.
• Familiarity with RAG, agent‑based workflows and LLM integration.
• Understanding of Agile, Scrum and DevOps practices.
