Intermediate Application Developer (2-year Fixed Term)

About the role

We are seeking an Intermediate Application Developer on a 2-year fixed-term contract to join the e-Cert department of the Perishable Products Export Control Board. The role focuses on designing, building and maintaining robust software solutions that support export control processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using C# and the .NET framework.
• Implement DevSecOps practices and ensure application security throughout the development lifecycle.
• Design, develop and integrate APIs for internal and external systems.
• Build and support mobile applications using Xamarin Forms or the latest cross-platform technologies.
• Deploy and manage solutions in a cloud environment, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver features in iterative sprints.

Required profile

• National Diploma (3-year) in Software Development or related field.
• Relevant certifications such as DevOps, ITIL Foundation or Azure Fundamentals (desirable).
• Minimum 4 years of experience in C#/.NET development.
• At least 2 years of experience with DevSecOps processes and application security.
• 2 years of experience working in an agile environment.
• 2 years of experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
• 3 years of experience in API integrations and 2 years in mobile development.
