About the role
OUTsurance is looking for a dynamic Insurance Broker to join its Centurion team. You will be responsible for expanding the short‑term insurance portfolio, selling both personal and commercial lines, and building lasting client relationships in a fast‑moving, digitally‑focused environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and grow a book of short‑term insurance business.
- Prospect, canvass and generate new sales leads for personal and commercial lines.
- Present insurance solutions, negotiate terms and close sales.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and provide ongoing service.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Collaborate with the sales support function and share market insights.
Required profile
- Completed Matric (National Senior Certificate).
- Own reliable vehicle with uninterrupted access and a valid Code B driver’s licence.
- Minimum 3 years of external, face‑to‑face sales experience.
- Self‑starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong business acumen.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
- Analytical, numerical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Resilience to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
