Inhouse Talent Acquisition Consultant

About the role

Our client, a family‑owned export trading business operating for over 52 years in Durban, is seeking an In‑house Talent Acquisition Consultant to join their busy recruitment team. The role is full‑time, based at the Morningside Head Office, and reports to the Recruitment Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end recruitment lifecycle from vacancy notification to offer acceptance and onboarding handover.
• Build and maintain a centralised talent database and shared pipelines across multiple subsidiaries.
• Source candidates through direct search, internal databases, referrals, LinkedIn and targeted outreach.
• Manage multiple live requisitions concurrently, conduct screening interviews and coordinate assessments.
• Maintain accurate recruitment reporting, files and data on shared systems.

Required profile

• Outcome‑driven with a focus on delivery and KPIs.
• Proven experience in internal recruitment or a blended agency‑internal background.
• Strong direct sourcing and pipeline development experience across multiple functions.
• Matric HR Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (BSocSci, BA Industrial/Organisational Psychology or BBA with HR preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency with ATS platforms.
• LinkedIn Recruiter and job board sourcing.
• Use of assessment tools and reporting dashboards.
