Information Technology Network Administrator

About the role

Masterparts is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Information Technology Network Administrator to join its IT team in Epping. You will be responsible for maintaining the company’s server, network and security infrastructure, ensuring reliable service for all business users.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft Server roles such as Active Directory, DNS, WSUS and Exchange.
• Provide hardware support, maintenance and troubleshooting for servers, workstations and peripherals.
• Install, configure and maintain operating systems, business applications and third‑party software.
• Assist with database monitoring and routine maintenance tasks.
• Escalate and resolve complex issues for Tier 1 support technicians.
• Patch, update and harden server and workstation operating systems and security solutions.
• Deliver desktop, printer, user‑account and telephony support as needed.
• Configure and troubleshoot managed network switches, VLANs, trunking, PoE and MikroTik routers (routing, NAT, firewall, VPN).
• Maintain wired and wireless network performance and reliability.
• Support CCTV and surveillance systems (Hikvision cameras, NVRs).
• Document network diagrams, configurations, change logs and troubleshooting procedures.
• Install and manage Linux (Debian) desktops and Raspberry Pi devices, performing command‑line administration.

Required profile

• Proven experience administering Microsoft Server environments and network infrastructure.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Linux desktop administration.
• Ability to provide tiered technical support and work independently on‑site.
