Inbound Telesales Representative

About the role

Join Xe’s fast‑growing consumer business as an Inbound Telesales Representative in Johannesburg. You will be the first point of contact for potential and existing customers, helping them understand our currency services and guiding them through the sales process.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls, answer queries and qualify sales opportunities.
• Promote Xe’s currency products and tailor messaging to each caller’s needs.
• Convert qualified leads into sales while ensuring smooth transactions.
• Record interactions, leads and follow‑ups accurately in Zendesk.
• Collaborate with the broader sales team for seamless handoffs and to meet overall sales targets.
• Deliver an excellent customer experience that drives satisfaction and loyalty.
• Follow standard processes and regulatory requirements.
• Continuously expand knowledge of the currency market and payment services.
• Participate in coaching and performance discussions to improve personal performance.

Required profile

• High level of English proficiency.
• Previous experience in a customer service or sales role.
• Interest in financial services and currency markets.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Zendesk (or similar CRM platform).
