Imports & Supply Administrator

About the role

Client in the agricultural sector is looking for an Imports & Supply Administrator to coordinate imported goods, ensure timely delivery, maintain regulatory compliance and support efficient supply‑chain operations.

Key responsibilities

• Create, issue and monitor purchase orders in SAP, follow up with suppliers and transporters, and reconcile high‑volume orders.
• Manage import purchase orders, communicate with the Dubai office and clearing agents, maintain tracking information and coordinate bulk, break‑bulk and container shipments.
• Control inventory by receiving stock at third‑party plants, processing stock transfers, and ensuring movements match physical intake quantities.
• Process invoicing for third‑party plants, CFR sales and wholesale orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain and file Bill of Lading documentation, issue release authorisation letters and product registration certificates as required.
• Liaise with suppliers, transporters, warehouses, clearing agents and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and support operational execution.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) and a BCom degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field.
• Valid South African ID or passport, driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans (written and spoken).
• 2–3 years of experience in a supply‑chain or logistics environment (advantageous).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
