Hybrid Sales Representative - On/Off Trade (Gauteng)

About the role

The Hybrid Sales Representative will drive growth for a premium beverage business across both on‑trade and off‑trade channels in Gauteng. You will be responsible for acquiring new customers, expanding existing accounts, and ensuring strong in‑store execution while travelling extensively within the territory.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities through cold calling and prospecting.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers in retail, hospitality and entertainment venues.
• Achieve monthly sales, distribution and volume targets.
• Negotiate trading terms within company guidelines.
• Ensure product availability, visibility and merchandising standards in stores.
• Conduct store audits, manage stock levels and support promotional activities.
• Maintain accurate customer records, visit schedules and sales forecasts using CRM tools.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.
• 3‑5 years of field sales experience in FMCG, beverages or related sectors.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and growing territory performance.
• Experience servicing both off‑trade (retail, wholesalers, forecourts) and on‑trade (restaurants, bars, hotels) channels.
• Strong customer relationship management and willingness to travel extensively.

Required skills

• Computer literacy with Excel.
• Proficiency in Outlook.
• Experience using CRM systems for reporting and forecasting.
