Human Resources Manager – Johannesburg

About the role

We are looking for a Human Resources Manager to lead the people strategy for our Customer Center in South Africa. The role focuses on boosting communication, collaboration and employee satisfaction while ensuring compliance with local labour laws.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a people strategy for the Customer Center South Africa.
• Partner with hiring managers to drive recruitment and employer branding initiatives.
• Develop and implement a local Inclusion & Diversity plan.
• Inform the Management Committee of legal changes affecting employment contracts.
• Support the organization on legal and practical matters related to employment, termination, misconduct and incapacity.
• Promote alignment of People Management processes across operational units, especially remuneration and benefits.
• Coach managers in leadership and organisational development and lead the HR meeting forum.
• Report progress to the General Manager and business board.
• Participate in the global HR community and lead employee lifecycle engagement strategy.
• Perform any other duties required by “The Way We Do Things”.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
• Proven leadership experience, direct or indirect.
• Strong background in organisational development and HR topics.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Fluency in English.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Solid understanding of South African labour law.
• Outstanding administrative and organisational skills.
