Human Resources Manager

About the role

Future Sonie Group is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Manager to lead the full HR function across its rapidly expanding micro‑finance business. The role combines operational HR duties with strategic workforce planning to support the company’s growth and culture.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end payroll administration, ensuring accurate and timely salary processing and compliance with PAYE, UIF, SDL and other statutory deductions.
• Manage compensation structures, incentives, bonuses and benefits administration.
• Develop and execute recruitment and talent acquisition strategies, handling the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding.
• Design, implement and monitor performance management systems, including KPI development aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with South African labour legislation and Employment Equity requirements.
• Lead employee relations, training and development programmes, and HR policy implementation.
• Provide strategic HR advice to senior management and act as a trusted partner on people‑related matters.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior HR role within a medium to large organisation.
• Strong knowledge of South African labour law, payroll regulations and Employment Equity.
• Demonstrated ability to manage full‑cycle recruitment and talent acquisition.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a results‑driven mindset.
