Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

About the role

The HR Business Partner will deliver end‑to‑end HR services and work closely with operational leaders to boost employee engagement, capability and business performance across manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement people strategies aligned with business objectives, including workforce planning, talent and succession management.
• Manage full HR operations such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, payroll support, benefits administration and HR reporting.
• Provide expert guidance on employee‑relations matters, including disciplinary processes, grievances, incapacity management and union engagement.
• Ensure compliance with labour legislation, bargaining council requirements, company policies and Employment Equity goals.
• Promote a positive workplace culture through engagement, wellness, recognition, learning & development and leadership capability initiatives.
• Analyse and present HR metrics to support informed decision‑making and continuous organisational improvement.

Required profile

• Degree or National Diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Labour Relations or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, with strong employee‑relations, recruitment and labour‑law expertise.
