Human Resource Officer – Cape Town

About the role

The client is a fast‑growing hospitality and lifestyle brand seeking a Human Resource Officer to nurture a high‑performance culture and ensure an outstanding employee experience throughout the employment journey.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment activities, draft and post job ads, screen applications and support hiring managers.
• Facilitate onboarding and induction programmes for new hires.
• Act as a trusted point of contact for employees, handling queries and employee‑relations matters.
• Support managers with performance review processes, goal setting and documentation.
• Identify development opportunities, assist with succession planning and coordinate learning initiatives.
• Maintain training records and support leadership and customer‑service training programmes.

Required profile

• Passionate, people‑focused HR professional with experience in recruitment, employee relations and performance management.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced hospitality environment.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in employee wellbeing and culture building.
