Human Resource Manager

About the role

Dynamic Plastics cc is seeking a proactive Human Resource Manager to lead the HR function for its manufacturing operations. The role is based in Germiston and focuses on talent acquisition, employee development, and labour relations within a fast‑growing plastics company.

Key responsibilities

• Create and post recruitment advertisements, screen CVs, and conduct reference and criminal checks.
• Coordinate new‑employee induction, probation reviews, contract renewals and terminations.
• Develop, review and monitor job KPAs, organograms and promotion pathways.
• Plan and deliver skills development and employment‑equity training programmes, including provider selection and needs analysis.
• Maintain compliance with the Management System, submit ATRs and manage the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) in line with SETA requirements.
• Facilitate the Employment Equity and Skills Development Committee and ensure timely submission of related information.
• Manage union and employee consultations, handle industrial relations matters and process statutory notifications.
• Provide employee counselling, resolve conflicts and support programmes for HIV/AIDS, substance abuse and other wellbeing initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR management within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation, employment‑equity compliance and skills‑development frameworks.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with both management and union representatives.
• Ability to analyse training needs, design programmes and monitor outcomes.
