Human Capital Advisor

About the role

The Human Capital Advisor provides support to HR Business Partners, advising and educating the business to ensure compliance with Human Capital practices, policies and processes. The role aligns business objectives with employee and management needs, fostering effective partnerships across the HR function.

Key responsibilities

• Support the HRBP in delivering comprehensive HR services to an assigned client base, covering the full HR value chain.
• Determine short‑ and long‑term manpower needs with line managers and facilitate learner intake processes.
• Advise, train and assist on performance and talent management, and provide guidance on financial, social and personal employee challenges.
• Conduct client visits, respond to HR queries, and ensure visibility of HC advisory services.
• Participate in recruitment interviews, verify recruitment data, update trackers and facilitate the recruitment process with Transactional Shared Services.
• Analyse HR reports, exit interviews and leave data, ensuring data integrity, compliance and risk monitoring.
• Support stakeholder communication, liaise with Centres of Excellence, and advise on organisational improvements.
• Provide employee‑relations advice, manage grievances and disciplinary enquiries, and maintain positive relations with internal unions.
• Deliver training initiatives, support career conversations and assist managers with performance management.
• Provide continuous improvement by answering HR policy queries, producing reports and supporting OD and wellbeing interventions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Human Resources Generalist.
• Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
