HR/IR Officer – Manufacturing (Durban)

About the role
Our client, a manufacturing company located in Mobeni, Durban, is looking for an experienced HR/IR Officer to manage both human resources and industrial relations functions at the plant.
Key responsibilities
- Lead recruitment processes, including screening candidates and conducting interviews.
- Prepare and submit annual reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Register and manage IOD (Injury on Duty) claims.
- Represent the company during wage negotiations and at the CCMA.
Required profile
- At least 10 years of experience in HR/IR, with a strong focus on industrial relations.
- 7–8 years of experience representing companies before the CCMA.
- Formal qualification in Human Resources or Industrial Relations.
- Own a reliable vehicle and hold a valid driver’s licence.
