HR Manager

About the role

Our client is looking for an experienced HR Manager to take ownership of the people function within their Centurion‑based operation. This is a hands‑on HR leadership opportunity that balances strategic HR with the realities of a busy operational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end HR function and provide strategic HR support to leadership.
• Manage employee relations, disciplinary processes, grievances and CCMA‑related matters.
• Drive recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee development initiatives.
• Ensure HR policies, procedures and employment practices remain compliant with South African legislation.
• Manage HR reporting, workforce planning and key people metrics.
• Lead HR projects and initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, culture and organisational effectiveness.

Required profile

• Degree or relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or a related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in a generalist HR role with proven HR leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation and employee relations.
• Experience working closely with senior leadership and providing sound HR advice.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to operate independently in a fast‑paced environment while balancing strategic priorities with hands‑on HR requirements.
