HR Generalist – Remote (UK clients)

About the role

Remote Recruitment is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support its UK‑based clients while working from South Africa. You will operate during UK business hours, providing end‑to‑end HR services and contributing to a positive remote‑working culture.

Key responsibilities

• Provide generalist HR support across recruitment, onboarding and off‑boarding.
• Advise and coach managers on employee relations and HR policies.
• Maintain employee documentation, contracts and HR records in compliance with legislation.
• Assist with compensation reviews, benchmarking and payroll input preparation.
• Support engagement initiatives and help foster a positive remote working environment.
• Drive continuous improvement of HR processes, systems and documentation.

Required profile

• 4+ years of generalist HR experience covering multiple HR disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent is advantageous.
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS platforms such as BambooHR, Workday or HiBob.
