HR Consultant – Recruitment & Talent Management

About the role

We are seeking an HR Consultant to lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management and talent development initiatives for middle‑management positions. The role involves managing the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring smooth onboarding, and supporting performance and succession planning processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment up to middle‑management level, including requisition approval, job advertising, shortlisting and competency‑based interviewing.
• Coordinate pre‑employment checks, provide feedback to unsuccessful candidates, and ensure all documentation is completed before appointment.
• Oversee onboarding and induction, guaranteeing timely setup of employee files and payroll submission.
• Facilitate performance management by rolling out job descriptions, performance agreements and coaching managers on appraisal processes.
• Drive talent management and succession planning, identifying high‑potential employees, conducting career discussions and implementing retention strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in recruitment and selection for middle‑management roles.
• Strong knowledge of competency‑based interview techniques and pre‑employment verification processes.
• Ability to design and deliver onboarding programmes and manage employee documentation.
• Experience in performance management, including setting objectives, coaching and handling performance issues.
• Understanding of talent identification, succession planning and retention initiatives.
