HR Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on, people‑focused HR Consultant to provide trusted support and guidance to managers and employees. The role will drive effective delivery of HR processes, including employee relations, recruitment, wellness, engagement and reporting, while aligning with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Advise, coach and guide managers and employees on HR processes.
• Support line managers with employee‑relations matters and coordinate wellness programmes.
• Assist with recruitment and selection activities.
• Drive employee engagement through representatives and various initiatives.
• Compile and present monthly HR reports.
• Liaise with the Fuse team on queries, escalations and thematic issues.
• Ensure execution, feedback and investigation of HR actions aligned to strategic objectives.

Required profile

• National Diploma or Degree in HR, Industrial Psychology or a related field.
• 2–3 years of HR experience or a similar role.
• Cross‑functional HR knowledge.
• Fluency in South African Sign Language (SASL) with the ability to sign and interpret effectively.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of HR systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
