HR Business Partner – Manufacturing

About the role

The HR Business Partner will support line managers at Prestige Factory by delivering end‑to‑end people processes and initiatives that align with strategic objectives. You will act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, talent acquisition, training, and wellness programmes within a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with employees on HR processes and provide guidance.
• Support line managers with employee relations matters.
• Resolve wage queries in collaboration with wage clerks.
• Plan, deliver and report on training programmes.
• Coordinate wellness initiatives and employee engagement activities.
• Recruit and select weekly paid employees.
• Produce weekly and monthly HR reports.
• Liaise with shared services (Fuse) and manage interactions with bargaining councils and unions.

Required profile

• National Diploma or Degree in HR, Skills Development, Industrial Psychology or a related field (essential).
• 2–3 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Cross‑functional HR knowledge and familiarity with HR systems.
• Experience working with bargaining councils and unions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR information systems.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
