HR Business Partner – Dealerships (Western Cape)

About the role

The HR Business Partner will support a network of franchised automotive dealerships across the Western Cape. You will act as a strategic advisor on employee relations, talent management and HR policy implementation, ensuring business effectiveness and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with dealership management to develop and execute HR plans, policies and processes.
• Provide day‑to‑day guidance on employee relations issues and advise on best practices.
• Coordinate the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and off‑boarding.
• Support strategic talent initiatives, including workforce planning and succession planning.
• Monitor and report on HR metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR business partnering or employee relations, preferably within a multi‑site or franchise environment.
• Strong understanding of South African labour legislation and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
