HR Administrator – Johannesburg

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented HR Administrator to support day‑to‑day human resources operations in our Johannesburg office. The role involves managing employee records, ensuring compliance with South African labour legislation, and assisting the HR team in a fast‑moving mobile industry environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain end‑to‑end HR administration, including employee records, contracts and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local labour laws, employment regulations and internal policies.
• Support recruitment activities such as job postings, interview coordination and onboarding.
• Handle employee relations queries, basic disciplinary processes and HR queries.
• Coordinate payroll inputs, leave management and attendance tracking.
• Assist with performance management cycles, probation evaluations and HR audits.
• Prepare HR reports and manage data for internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an HR Administrator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of South African labour laws and employment regulations.
• Excellent organisational, time‑management and communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
