Housekeeper – Branch Maintenance

About the role

Hollywoodbets is looking for a Housekeeper to join its Emalahleni branch in Mpumalanga. The role is focused on maintaining a clean, hygienic and orderly environment throughout the branch for staff and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Keep all work areas clean and tidy before opening, during service and at closing, including the interior, exterior and car‑park.
• Sweep, mop, scrub or vacuum floors, clean walls, gather and dispose of refuse, and empty, wash or sanitize bins.
• Clean toilets and ensure all tables, counters, chairs, TV screens, furniture, lights, machines and equipment are wiped before staff start.
• Maintain neat service areas during both peak and quiet periods.
• Use cleaning chemicals and detergents appropriately and request additional supplies or worn equipment from the Branch Manager.
• Report any breakages, clean air‑conditioner filters weekly, and monitor gaming‑area tables and chairs, including seat‑covers and table‑leg adjustments.

Required profile

• Previous housekeeping experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• High level of integrity, trustworthiness and reliability.
• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Ability to take initiative while maintaining quality of work.

Required skills

• Proper use of cleaning chemicals and detergents.
• Operation of basic cleaning equipment such as mops, brooms and vacuums.
