About the role
Deliver a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the hospital to prevent the spread of infection, while supporting linen, food services and waste management functions.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with infection prevention and control policies.
- Manage resources efficiently, including ordering and safekeeping of equipment, materials and cleaning solutions.
- Provide effective linen management and food services support.
- Handle all types of waste safely, including domestic, medical and anatomical waste.
- Support supervisors and colleagues while adhering to policies and procedures.
