About the role

The Hotel Cleanliness Expert ensures that guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation. Working within the housekeeping department of a 4‑ or 5‑star property, you will follow Marriott International policies and COVID‑19 protocols while delivering exceptional service to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties in guest rooms and public areas, including dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and floor care.
• Replace amenities, linens, and supplies, and make beds according to hotel standards.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and coordinate with other departments.
• Inspect rooms for missing or malfunctioning items and report maintenance issues.
• Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely, following Hazardous Material Management procedures.
• Push and pull loaded housekeeping carts across varied surfaces and transport supplies to assigned areas.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of housekeeping experience in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to work independently, follow schedules, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Professional appearance, uniform compliance, and strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to work rostered shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
