Hospitality Assistant

About the role

Hollywoodbets is looking for a Hospitality Assistant to join its Purple Team in Umhlanga. You will support the delivery of hospitality services at sporting events and corporate functions, ensuring a premium experience for clients and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Work on‑site at events, serving clients in hospitality suites and bar areas.
• Provide support to Hospitality Coordinators and produce weekly event reports.
• Manage event logistics, including set‑up, coordination, and smooth execution.
• Control expenditure, handle stock ordering, and maintain inventory levels.
• Develop and maintain hospitality procedures, ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Obtain quotes, set budgets, record expenses, and adjust as needed.
• Build relationships with internal and external suppliers.
• Analyse event performance, give feedback, and drive attendance.
• Maintain an annual events calendar and prepare events in advance.
• Travel nationally and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s licence.
• 2‑3 years experience in bar service and food & beverage service.
• 2‑3 years experience in the event industry or stadium suites.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and travel as required.
