About the role
The International Hotel School, West Rand Campus, is looking for a passionate Higher Education Lecturer to inspire and educate future hospitality professionals. You will deliver engaging, industry‑relevant content and support students in their personal and professional development.
Key responsibilities
- Inspire and educate students in hospitality management and related subjects.
- Develop and deliver curriculum that reflects current industry standards.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
Required profile
- NQF Level 7 hospitality qualification (essential).
- Registration with ETDP SETA as an Assessor (beneficial).
- Scoped by CATHSSETA (beneficial).
- Minimum 5 years of practical hospitality industry experience.
- Minimum 2 years of lecturing or teaching experience.
Required skills
- Proficiency with relevant computer software and strong administrative abilities.
- Solid knowledge of curriculum design and assessment processes.
